Diamond Bracelet

by Samma
$403

Composed of white bronze squares and rectangles, this geometric bracelet offers just the right texture and hint of 70s boho to complement oversize sweaters and floor-skimming skirts. Pair with its matching necklace to ace sculptor Hanna Sandin's intended look. Sandin veered from her path of abstract mobiles and installations because of her own desire for easy everyday accessories. “I really hate putting something on and feeling indecisive,  or that it's too much," she says. "I can put on [Samma pieces] with out any doubts with any ensemble, any shoes, any belt or bag and run out the door.” Composed of slightly irregular primary shapes, the handcrafted necklaces, rings, bracelets, and more emit a distinguishably modern and homemade warmth.

Meet the Designer

RISD graduate Hanna Sandin's abstract sculptures and mobiles have earned her an Emerging Artists Fellowship from New York’s Socrates Sculpture Park, plus exhibitions at MOMA P.S. 1, and spots in various Paris shows. Of her wearable work, Sandin tells us "my interest in modular forms, repetition, and subtle variation are elaborated within the vocabulary of shapes that I use over and over in each collection.”

But we must admit -- what really strikes a chord is Sandin’s more wearable work: jewelry. “My personal sensibility fo... Read the Story
